The Solar Eclipse at Idlewild

We’re hosting a Solar Eclipse Viewing Event on Monday, April 8th from 2-4:30 pm at the center, and you’re invited. (Max view around 3:20pm)

Wondering what a solar eclipse is? It’s when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth, casting a shadow on our planet. It’s an awe-inspiring sight that you won’t want to miss! We’ll provide special glasses for safe viewing, so you can witness this incredible phenomenon up close. Best of all, it’s free!
