Are you ready to investigate, monitor, and protect our local environment? The Eastern Queens Alliance is looking for the next generation of environmental leaders for our I.M.P.A.C.T.S. Program (Investigate • Monitor • Protect)!
Get hands-on experience studying Idlewild’s wetland ecosystem and learn the “green job” skills needed to tackle environmental changes and water pollution.
Program Highlights:
- Field Based Research: Conduct real-world environmental studies
- Skill Building: Learn water quality testing, GIS mapping, and microscopy.
- Data Management: Master the collection and analysis of community research

- When: FREE 10-week training program (March 28th – May 30)
- Weekly participation is required
- Eligibility: Open to recent grads or young adults aged 18-25.
